Social and community

Volunteers play an active role in organizing activities and developing resources. They support the mission of the Valcartier Military Family Resource Centre on a daily basis. By volunteering, you contribute to the well-being of the community and gain a rewarding experience in the process!

Volunteering at CRFM Valcartier can help you meet others who are going through similar experiences, develop professional skills to help you re-enter the workforce, give back to the community, enjoy enriching experiences, and much more!

Depending on your interests, goals, and availability, you can get involved on a regular basis by joining one of our volunteer committees, or on an occasional basis by volunteering your time for one of our community activities.

Volunteers may bring their children along when volunteering. Family volunteering is a wonderful opportunity to instill values of mutual support and sharing while spending quality time with your children!

Youth aged 12 to 17 can also become volunteers and get involved in community activities and various committees. Youth volunteering promotes integration, skill development, and independence among teenagers. Qualified youth workers are on hand to provide guidance to young people as they volunteer.
