Volunteering for teenagers
Young people between the ages of 12 and 17 can get involved in various activities offered to the community and on various committees. Volunteering promotes integration, skill development and self-reliance. Qualified employees guide young people during their volunteering. You can be active in your community by getting involved with various committees. Volunteering allows you to meet new people, develop your potential and have different experiences. Volunteer and community social work technician
Responsible for registering volunteers (targets interests, referral to committees or occasional opportunities). She is also responsible for supervising volunteers at activities organized by the Valcartier Family Centre and its partners. Trained in this field, she will listen to you and refer you to the right place if necessary.

Plans and organizes community activities in close collaboration with volunteers, Valcartier Family Centre employees and various partners to meet the needs of the community. Develops and fosters a living environment where everyone can take action.

Volunteering and Community Coordinator
Coordinates and develops the volunteer program and several community activities. Works in collaboration with the community organizer, the volunteer worker, many partners and the large team of volunteers from the Valcartier Family Centre.
During the VFC’s opening hours, you can use the community room. Decorated by the volunteers on the living environment committee, the community room has all sorts of information on the activities and programs that the VFC and its partners offer. Whether you drop by with your children or by yourself, it is the ideal place to chat with others, meet new people, eat or relax. There is even a play area for kids.
