Second Language teacher

 Are you searching for a part-time job? Do you like to teach, communicate, and share knowledge? Do you like to have fun while teaching? If you said yes to these questions, you are the person we are looking for! The Valcartier Military Family Resource Centre would like you as part of its team to entrust you with the responsibility to organize, to teach, to evaluate, and to deliver activities, in English and in French, of different National second language training program module. Join us to give with humor, dynamic and fun English and/or French second language courses to our client. 

What we offer you as a team member: 

  • Salary: between 25,48$/hour and 34,23$/hour (based on experience) 
  • Part-time job, between 3 and 18 hours a week (virtual and/or in person session) 
  • 12 weeks contract renewable depending on the clients needs 
  • Flexible schedule (depending on the needs) 
  • Start around September 11th, 2023 
  • 11 statutory holidays 
  • After 3 months, you will have:
  •      2 sick days

Your profile: 

  • Available day and evening depending on the clients needs (flexible schedule) 
  • First cycle of university diploma in education or any discipline relevant to this position 
  • One (1) year of work experience in teaching, conduct training or in a relevant position 
  • Experience with a diversity of clientele (kids, teenagers, and adults), would be considered an asset 
  • Excellence in the language of instruction (in oral, in writing, and grammar) 
  • Excellent organizational 
  • Autonomy 
  • Dynamic 
  • Interpersonal skills and a good communicator
