Here is the latest episode in our series called Life as a military parent, episode 6. Today’s topic is about the reality of deployment for military families.

Are you about to be deployed? Time to cover the pool, find the snow blower, and finish the garage. Now that you have prepared the house, have you prepared yourself? Are you feeling all right? Deployments are regular occurrences when we are sharing a life with someone in the Forces, so we do know a few things! We also know that deployment is not always smooth sailing. We have several reflection points and some tips to help you. Mathieu Morin, an absence care facilitator, Mathieu Bouchard, a youth facilitator, and Audrey Charland, a special educator, will talk about some very real things that can happen to military families when a loved one is away. Remember that you are not alone.
